Description:

  • ArkShield is a dual active product, utilising both Chlorhexidine (0.35%) and Lactic acid (5%) to create a product that is both kind to the udder and highly effective against mastitis-causing pathogens.
  • Lactic Acid is a next-generation teat disinfectant with natural exfoliating properties. It poses no resistance or residue issues and is effective against microorganisms by causing cell lysis, crossing the cell wall of the bacterium, and acidifying its contents, killing the cell.
  • ArkShield is the premier product within the Ark range of teat dips, with 50% more active substance than others in the market, providing a fast, broad-spectrum kill rate on mastitis-causing pathogens.
  • Contains triple action skin conditioners, including real peppermint oil, which prevent teat ends from cracking, act as a fly repellent, and stimulate blood flow.
  • High levels of emollients with a special formulation designed to create a PVP film barrier around the teat, allowing more contact time on the skin, maximising the kill rate, and providing greater moisturising time for the skin conditioners and emollients.
  • Barrier technology for longer protection, longer contact time, and less waste.
