On-farm Individual Cow and Quarter Testing
Staph. aureus is proven to increase bulk tank SCC dramatically, even when cows do not show any signs of infection. Fresh Cow Dry Cow® is the reliable solution to keep your herd free of Staph. aureus by identifying pathogens in risk cows or infected quarters accurately.
Fresh Cow Dry Cow® is particularly recommended for keeping Staph. aureus under control for herds with a history of Staph. aureus presence, or when our Snapshot® diagnostic solution has established Staph. aureus management as a priority. As a standalone solution for non-Staph. aureus herds, Fresh Cow Dry Cow® ensures no risk is left unchecked.

- Fresh Cows. When there is a suspicion of Staph. aureus in the herd, all fresh cows need to be tested before they join the clean herd.
- Staph. aureus cows that have been treated. Post-treatment Testing of Staph. aureus cows will tell you whether treatment was successful. Staph. aureus treatment failure rate is high.
